Earlier this year, I broke up with Amazon.

I cancelled my prime and decided to never shop there again, and I hope you will, too. No one really needs next-day shipping and it doesn't take long to find good alternative shops, locally and online.

I did it because I don't buy into to the version of the world Amazon is building: uniform, faceless, monopolised.

I dread the automated Amazon grocery stores, but the last straw that pushed me to this was when I saw Amazon haircuts at the Spitalfields Market in London. It gave me the dystopian creeps!

I want to live in a world where neighbourhoods and services retain local flavour instead of being pushed out by faceless corporations reaping profits, avoiding taxes, and destroying culture.

To nurture uniqueness of culture and character, we need to change our consumer habits. This plugin is a small step towards that. And when many people take small steps, it creates a wave of impact.

Let's shop small.

P.S. I am not getting paid to do this; I did this out of my own initiative to help people change their habits.
